Why test for food sensitivities?
Testing for food sensitivities can offer valuable insight into the cause of many diverse symptoms. We may not think of a headache, a consistently runny nose, an inability to concentrate, depression, joint aches or weight gain as symptoms relating to our diet. However, all of these symptoms along with many more such as gastro intestinal distress, diarrhea, constipation, dry skin, rashes, hyperactivity and fatigue can all be symptoms of a food intolerance.
Sensitivities or intolerances are different from true allergies in that they do not always provoke an immune response but they provoke symptoms that can interfere with normal living. A quick and painless 45 minute test you can identify which foods may be causing an issue for you. Removing these foods for a time can help alleviate symptoms and allow for healing. In some cases a period of avoidance can even help reinstate some tolerance to the same foods.
